Leda is Chattanooga’s premier roadside attraction offering multiple crags all of which are located minutes from your car door. Because of this and its abundance of moderate grades, Leda has become Chattanooga’s go-to crag for learning how to climb outside. The cliff itself is privately owned and is managed and maintained by the Southeastern Climber’s Coalition. On average, the cliff is a bit shorter and lower in angle than most others, but for what it lacks in height, it makes up for in convenience and all around fun climbing in a nice setting (albeit roadside) amid the North Chickamauga Creek Gorge.
